Wondering if the Healthy Habits Challenge can benefit you?
Here's what past participants have to say.....
"Yay! I can't believe it is almost the end of the challenge already! And, I'm so glad to hear you are going to do another one - I'm in for sure! I was going to ask you if I could just keep reporting my points after the challenge! LOL. Thanks for hosting this challenge and for all the encouraging words. It has been fun and I am looking forward to FINISHING STRONG.....that is my week 7 motto! Every week I gave myself a motto!
......I lost 16 pounds on the Challenge!!! Still got more goals to reach, but this Challenge helped me so much!!

"I told my daughter that I almost feel bad to be recognized for winning the Challenge when I feel I have already been rewarded from actually doing the challenge. Winning the prize was only a small portion of what motivated me. I think that it was really the reporting. The accountability to what I said I would do drove me more than anything. Also being able to see quick results in some of the areas inspired me to continue. I would hope that everyone that took this challenge would feel as good about the results as I do."

"I can hardly believe the 7 weeks is over. It went by faster than I ever could have imagined. Honestly, if you had asked me at the beginning of this challenge if I thought I could hold myself to it, I would have given myself a 50/50 chance of sticking with it. When you look at me, I don't seem like the typical "Healty Habits Challenge" person. I'm not trying to lose weight; if anything, I look like I could stand to gain a few pounds! I didn't think that I ate that badly before the challenge. I typically run to stay in shape, but after a stress fracture in my foot last fall, I really lost all motivation to get out and do anything. I really just needed a push to start exercising again. Being held accountable to someone felt like the easiest way for me to get up and do what I needed to be doing. The other stuff that came along with the challenge seemed like the easy part.
I WAS WRONG.
.......The first week of the challenge was miserable. I craved the sugar that I wasn't getting from the junk I didn't realize I ate everyday.
.......I never realized that I wasn't getting enough fruits and vegetables in a day until I started counting.
I have learned far more than I thought I would in the last seven weeks....... Seven weeks has done its job. I didn't feel any cravings today for the food I used to eat so easily. I am truly amazed by the differences I see in myself. As far as continuing on: this has become a part of my life. It's become the way I do things in my home and for my family. I feel great. How could I ever go back?"

I have LOVED living this way. It is a habit by now. My greatest change has been my increase in vegetable intake. I always thought I ate enough veggies . . . . but I realize I filled up on breads and only ate minimal veggies. I have now switched that order, and I feel so much better. I have lost a total of 15 pounds. I plan to live like this from now on. It's a great way of life.

"Thanks for doing this guys. I am trying to lose weight and that is typically the focus of any new "health plan" that I start/burn out on. This has been the first time that I've done something where improved health was the primary goal and weight loss was a natural consequence. The things I'm doing (sleeping 7hrs, drinking water, eating fruits and veggies, etc.) are all things that I can continue to do. I'm hopeful that I've made an incremental lifestyle change that I can maintain forever. I also lost about 10.5lbs.

"My success was realized when I popped open my one can of Coke Zero last Sunday and realized I just don't care much for soda anymore. Thank you for the challenge!"
Cassandra
"This has been a GREAT challenge! Thank you for the experience! I look forward to the next one too."
